The other categories were for those who have "promoted rural life and ensure that communities can thrive" and "improve or protect the environment".
The CPRE's mission is to "promote and enhance Hertfordshire’s countryside for everyone to value and enjoy".
We are absolutely thrilled to have won these two awards for simply sharing our love of the countryside with others. Hertfordshire Walker is a non-commercial site offering more than 200 walks which are free to download and enjoy on any device.
A big thanks to those who nominated Hertfordshire Walker for the awards and to the CPRE judges for recognising our work.
The award ceremony was held at Hertfordshire County Hall on Tuesday 17 October 2022.
