We were going to do this walk yesterday but changed out minds because Little Berkhampstead was going to be busy with a Jubilee event but the What3Words link seemed to be to the wrong place - in Oxford. Just thought Id let you know so you can change it otherwise that's a very long walk! Look forward to doing the walk another time.
ReplyDeleteSorry about that, and thanks for pointing it out. I must have copied it down incorrectly. I have fixed it now. Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated.

Hi Dave walked the route earlier after Jubilee Weekend 🤣😂🤣 . Just a funny bit . At point 13 you say on notes Bridal Path 26 . The Phantom Magic Marker has written 25 on post . Made no difference lovely combination of other walks. Oh Goats not there must have gone on Holiday . IR.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ian, will head out there and check tomorrow, armed with our remover liquid and marker pen. All will be correct by close of play tomorrow night. Thanks for the feedback. Dave and Ellie
DeleteHi Ian, all fixed. The bridleway markers were fine, but I have now edited my directions to make it clearer where bridleway 25 becomes bridleway 26. Thanks for pointing it out.
DeleteDid this walk to day. Lovely walk easy to follow. We did see the goats and a very friendly alpaca who was sharing the field.
ReplyDeleteFantastic sighting of a buzzard sitting on the fence near the goats. Also saw a Red Kite. Paths were very dry underfoot. Finished off with lunch and a beer at the Five Horse shoes. This was a great walk for our bouncy lab as a lot of the route were enclosed bridal paths. There were a few cows in the field at direction16 but the sign on the gate into the field did warn to us to keep dogs on lead.
Great report. So glad you enjoyed it. I envy the buzzard sighting. Thanks for the feedback. David
