This walk follows the boundary to the south, west, and north of Heartwood Forest. There are three pubs in Sandridge village. The Green Man, The Queens Head, and The Rose and Crown.

There is a cafe at West End Barns Cafe, Nomansland close to point 8 in the walk (location - https://w3w.co/nearly.impact.diary).

This is one of several walks on this site that feature Heartwood Forest.

  1. Our 'Walk & Talk' group did this walk today - well some of it! Unfortunately, we went into Langley Wood at point 2. and did a loop around the wood! After exiting at 3 we were fine until 7 and then, trying to take a 'short cut' back, we went around Round Wood!! before heading back to the car park. It was an enjoyable, if muddy walk, to a lovely area we hadn't visited before.
